The solar energy sector experienced a strong boost in the past years. After years of development, the sector is going through a consolidating phase, with further excellent prospects for Germany's know-how.

EPURON is one of the pioneers in the photovoltaic market and has set several milestones in the company's history. From the rooftop project with the tyre manufacturer Michelin to the 20-MWp park in Andalusia and the thin-film system in Mering, Bavaria - these projects were an outstanding achievement in the worldwide photovoltaic market at the time of commissioning. Today, EPURON's project portfolio adds up to more than 118 megawatt peak (MWp).

In the Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) sector, EPURON developed a 50-MW ready-to-build project in 2009 and sold it to a Spanish energy provider. Further projects are in various stages of development.
