2006 voltwerk AG has changed its name to EPURON. The new name represents our drive to increase as an international company.

EPURON has set-up its first project with thin-layer technology in the German town of Mering - the 1.78 MW-park is one of largest systems of its kind in the world.

With the founding of its Italian subsidiary, EPURON has expanded its international field of operations and constructed its first project in late 2006.

Earlier in 2006, EPURON sold wind power plants with a total performance of 80 MW to an international investor.
