CULLERIN RANGE WIND FARM

Latest news:
Media Release - Cullerin Wind Farm receives development consent
1 March 2007

The Cullerin Wind Farm would contribute to the generation of renewable energy in NSW. It would help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing our reliance on coal fired power stations and help fix the shortfall in power generation in the State.

In an average year it could supply clean, renewable electricity for up to 12,000 average NSW homes, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in NSW by up to 95,000 tonnes per annum.

The project was approved by the NSW State Government Department of Planning on 21st February, 2007.

On 22 January 2008, Epuron announced the sale of the Cullerin Range project, and two other projects, to Origin Energy. Read the announcement >>here.
